The History Of Theiis
Throughout the 1990's the Skylight newsletter would include "A Letter From Theiis". It all started during a trip down to Gadsden (I was still living in Kentucky at the time). Brook and I would try to get together every now and then and discuss Christian Brothers business. During one of these meetings we had been talking about the spiritual warfare that the Christian Brothers ministry were facing at that time. We were pondering a way to convey what was going on in the spiritual realm.
I remember the idea for Theiis came to me on the way back home. Theiis is ficticious angel that was given Concernship over Christian Brothers. By the time I made it back to Bowling Green, I'd composed the first two angelic letters in my head. I ran to my Tandy PC and wrote everything down immediately after returning home. I then read Brook both letters over the phone. We both knew that we had been given our avenue of communicating news from the spirtiual front.
About a year later Brook suggested that we promote Theiis to include all of Etowah County. He said that the inspired letters seemed to deal with the state of The Church in area.
I still on occasion write a new Theiis but it is only emailed to handful of people. I think that I have only written two in the last five years. I enjoy writing them when the Lord gives them to me.
Letter From Theiis
The following letter is the second Letter From Theiis which appeared in the Skylight Newsletter October 11, 1991.
We finally caught a pest sneaking around within the walls of Christian Brothers. He was a little demon that took several months to flush out. His name was Doubt, and what a smell that little rascal made when we ended its miserable life. you know that when such demons are out of the way, faith can work without unnecessary interference.
Apathy is still present. I believe that he has had the help of demons of Slumber and Self-Indulgence. They have not been seen, but their handiwork is evident. Prayer support is still low. All of my officers have confirmed a dire need for real worship throughout the ministry as a whole. As long as the children are not praying and constantly seeking the Christ, these demons can not be uprooted. These demons are like termites eating away at the foundation. Christian Brothers suffers from the same afflictions as the rest of the Church in America. Your brother Theiis is at peace because he is still seeing the Holy Spirit moving within His children. They are only a few, but they know the promises of the Christ.
You told me in your last letter of our Master's dealing with a stronger hand in your theatre. it is the same here in Gadsden. This is the first time I have seen such demands being made on believers everywhere. We are indeed witnessing the last moments of Satan's reign on earth. All of the brothers that I have spoken with seem to confirm this suspicion. God is already in the process of weeding out the weak and disobedient and strengthening the faithful and obedient. He is demanding discipline from all of His children. I have witnessed several people put aside because of their indecisiveness and fear. A great battle is at hand and everyone is expected to make a stand. Please keep me posted on any further news. I am encouraged by all that has happened and yet made constantly aware of all that needs to be done.
There is much going on here. Things tht I can not discuss at present. I will tell you that I was visited by Ordeniss last week. He gave me orders to appear before The Throne to recieve instruction. What wonderful news.
